Summer Research Writing Warm-Up for Students

Students, come talk about and workshop your research-related writing!

Wednesday, May 30th
10 am - 12 pm
UIC Writing Center, 105 Grant Hall

With the help and expertise of the Writing Center, you will be led in thinking about the genres of research writing, what different audiences expect from research writing, and how best to communicate your discoveries and expertise to both scholarly/scientific audiences and lay audiences.

We will also provide time for individual conversations about your research writing goals and challenges.
If you are just getting started in research and are wondering how it turns into a written product, come to discuss that. If you are in the early stages of writing, we will help you take a next step. If you have a current draft, including drafts for the June 1 deadline of UIC's Interdisciplinary Undergraduate Research Journal, bring those along for one last round of feedback.
